How the model works
Most marketing is paid by the hour or by the month, whether it brings in work or not. We charge a monthly management fee that covers the ongoing work, plus a performance fee on results we can measure:
- Growth Partner: 5% of tracked revenue from new customers attributed to our work
- Ecommerce Partner: 7% of agreed incremental online sales attributed to our work
- Local Growth: a fixed price per approved qualified lead
What commission applies to
Commission applies only to revenue from new customers that can be traced to our work under attribution rules agreed before you sign. It is calculated on the value excluding VAT, refunds and cancellations. Sales to your existing customers, and sales unrelated to our work, are excluded. For high-value contracts or lower-margin industries, a different percentage can be agreed.
How sales are tracked and verified
We agree the tracking method with you at the start. Depending on how you sell, that can include Google Analytics 4 conversion events, form and call tracking, your CRM, ecommerce sales reports or a shared record of new customer sales. Your client agreement sets out the attribution window, how sales are verified and when performance fees are paid.
Why it changes how we work
When part of our income depends on your new sales, we care about the quality of enquiries, how quickly they are answered and whether they turn into paid work. Traffic and rankings still matter, as steps on the way to revenue.
Is it right for you?
It suits businesses with a proven product or service, an average sale above about £500, room to take on more work and a willingness to share sales data for tracking. It is usually a poor fit for very early-stage businesses, unless we see real potential, and for anyone who would rather keep sales figures private. The pricing calculator shows how the fees work with your own numbers.
Questions owners ask
Is commission charged on all my sales?
No. Only on eligible sales from new customers attributed to our work under the agreed rules. Existing customers and unrelated sales are excluded.
How do you know a sale came from your work?
We record where each enquiry came from, then match it to confirmed sales using the method in your agreement, such as your CRM or a shared sales record.
When is the performance fee paid?
Payment timing is set out in the client agreement, and you will see it before you sign.
What if sales do not grow?
You pay the monthly management fee for the agreed work. There is no performance fee on sales that did not happen.
